Lost

September 16th, 2007 by dreamyd

The 1st time I lost a grandparent. The 1st time I afraid to see the dead. The 1st time in many months I cried uncontrollably. The 1st time I really sat down and chatted with my grandma. The 1st time I attended a christain funeral. The 1st time I went to Mandai crementation.

12 Sep 07, Ah Da, you will be safe in God’s hands. There will be no more pain and sufferings for you. Only peace and happiness and eternal life. Rest in peace…

Missing…

August 3rd, 2007 by dreamyd

I’m still missing my old ward though this week is my 2nd week in the new ward… Though the work load can be alittle different but I miss the people there… I miss all except one.. The one and only "wooling" *chuckles* Nobody really likes her anyway. I miss you all girls… Thanks for tolerating my nonsense and crapiness… Had a tough time understanding how my new working environment works, hopefully I’ll be able to handle it soon…

Don’t you just hate being accuse of doing something that you’ve not done it before? Well, it happened on me. Thought it’ll only happen on some drama… Just feeling depressed and sad… Speechless over such things… Just simply don’t know how to explain and clear the air… The worse thing is that even a closest friend doubted me… Asshole, spoil my reputation… But anyway that was last week thing, hopefully everyone will forget about it… Can only blame myself for not attending to church, nor praying or reading Bible religiously… Sorry Father… Please forgive me…  I have not forgotten you, so please don’t punish me further… I’m innocent…

Movie

March 9th, 2007 by dreamyd

Shiok, I’ve just watched the movie "300" few days ago. I just simply love this kinda show, blood and slashing and war. This show no doubt is short but I enjoyed this movie. It talked about this 300 men from a city battling the whole world. The way they fight and the tactics used during battle, so "wow"! I was so ever amazed by the tactics used during battles and the way they fight. Not forgetting their figures… *drools*

I’ve watched "ghost rider" too, few weeks ago, it’s nice too! I like the actor, Nicholas Cage, whereby most of the movie he acted are nice~ There’s humor in this show too.

Can’t wait to watch "Hannibal Rising" and "Spiderman 3". One day should try the cinema at VIvo City, the way they advertised sounds very good…

Fish tank part 2

February 27th, 2007 by dreamyd

My fish tank more or less stable I guess. Think I’ll stop buying corals, hopefully if I don’t move them they can spawn and spread to the nearby rocks!

New hobby!

February 10th, 2007 by dreamyd

After watching my husband painstakingly doing up his marine tank, I couldn’t resist the urge but to follow his craze. *winks* I kept thinking, man, these creatures are so nice to see but so expensive to keep and need lots of patience. Since my hubby has the experience, why not I give it a try? So these are the pics of my newly started tank. Nothing fancy initially, must let the tank be "seasoned" first… ;)

On the 5th February, I lay out the rocks…

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q306/bedenise/My%20nano%20tank/1stlayout.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q306/bedenise/My%20nano%20tank/5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

My first resident, Spotted Cardinalfish. There’s 2 of it, the slightly bigger one is rather unfriendly towards the smaller one… -.-"

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q306/bedenise/My%20nano%20tank/1stresident.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

On the 6th, my hubby helped me to add in the sand. Was pretty cloudy. Whole tank settled down the next day. On the 9th Feb, he gave me one of his "lousy" zoo for me to try out to see if my tank is in the good condition.

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q306/bedenise/My%20nano%20tank/9.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

On 10th Feb, we went to Coral Farm at Lim Chu Kang to get new residents over our tanks. He got himself new clown fish, 4 chromes, 2 sea fans, 1 christmas tree, 2 feather duster tube worm and 1 anemone. For me, I got 6 chromis, 1 mushroom (coral), 1 zoo (coral), 1 anemone, 1 hermit crab, 1 snail and 1 saddleback clown fish.

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q306/bedenise/My%20nano%20tank/10-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

The top brown zoo is the one I got from Coral Farm. The green one is from my hubby. I was so glad that it actually opened about an hour later I put it in my tank. =)

I didn’t managed to take a shot for my new fishes as they’re too fast! Will upload again next time. Mushroom wise… Still waiting for it to open more, then I’ll take a pic. Hehe~ Hopefully my tank will be as nice as my hubby one. Where’s his tank pic? Will not post it now… Too intimidating…

Trip to Sentosa on 3rd Feb 07

February 4th, 2007 by dreamyd

Yesterday I went to Sentosa with my family in laws. We went to Underwater World. Weird? Don’t know but I never been to Underwater World. It’s fancinating I tell you. I saw this giant turtle before I stepped into the place. As I went in, there’s a touch pool whereby you can touch the fishes like shark and puffer fish (I don’t think I wana touch that). There’s another bigger pool where all the sting ray are. Their fang were removed hence, safe to touch them. I was so fearful yet so curious how does their skin feel. I managed to touch alittle, very smooth but I had palpitation for a few seconds. It was fun. Hehe! I also very amazed with a creature called "sea angels", which was found by Singaporean. It really looked like an angel, transparent with red light in their tummy. So cute!!! Not forgetting a giant japanese spider crab, making me so hungry… Aw, I miss eating chilli crab… =P There’s too much fishes to mention so I’ll stop here. =X

After Underwater World, we went to pink dophine lagoon. It’s really pink colour and the usual stunts from what you see in tv. Kawaii!

When we left Sentosa, we head down to Vivo City. Man the place is big! So glad I’m with my hubby, I was so lost!!! Will shop around there again during weekdays after work when there’s not much ppl around. =)

Tickle test

Denise, Old Fashioned Charm turns you on

Miss Manners would be proud. You mind your P’s and Q’s and expect your mate to do the same. Whether they’re opening car doors for you, rescuing stray animals from the pound, or just calling people "Sir" and "M’am," that’s what lights your fire. You’re irresistibly drawn to the thoughtfulness and effort to help others.

Sure, it’s a bonus to like the way someone looks, but it’s their more traditional values and all-around goodness that most makes you want to rip off their tucked-in shirts and mess up their neatly coiffed hair. Forget candy hearts and bottles of bubbly — well, you don’t have to forget them, but you’ll also go weak in the knees for a kind word, generous gesture, or unpretentious manner. Yes, please!

Try to relax~~

Geez, it’s been a long time I last blogged… Been busy working, studying, doing my assignment, prepared for ISO audit which was over few days ago. I guess I’m a pretty boring person. Nothing much interesting. After work, come home and sleep, rest, read my lecture notes or watch tv. It’s seems like I can’t really communicate with my friends anymore. I’m too restricted to chat with others due to my working environment and my social life. Well, I do meet my friends but not much. For example recently I met my secondary school friends to chill out. Initally we intended to go to cafe iguana but it was too packed. Then we went to hooters. Very bad experience if you asked me. Portion of food is too much. Every page of menu, there’s a girl wearing skimpy clothes. Not much choices of food. The servers keep asking what do you want, indirectly chasing us off. *pui* 2 thumbs down on hooters.

After that we walked about to find some place to hang out. Clark Quay really changed alot. The whole place is beautiful. In the end my friend suggested to go to MOS. It’s my first time going there. The whole place is huge man. I think I’ll get lost there. We went to Retro room to chill out first. You know girls, we just simply love to take photos. So we were like busy posing and taking photo. Very nice atmosphere. Didn’t want to go into details but the place in short is very big and not bad to hang out at.

I’ll stop here for the time being. To be continued with my other stories, didn’t have mood to continue typing. Tired la…

Happy birthday lao gong! You’re another year older and wiser! No matter what happens you’re still my "old man"…

Thanks for being a friend, listening to my problems.

Thanks for being an adviser, teaching me the rights and wrongs.

Thanks for being a gym trainer, keeping me strong and right techniques to fight people. *oops*

Thanks for being a cook, making dishes for this forever hungry person.

Thanks for being a secretary, always planning my work and schedule.

Thanks for being a domestic helper, cleaning up the messy room that I’ve made.

Thanks for being a massager, massaging for me whenever I requested though you were tired.

Thanks for being my husband, showering me with love and care and patience, especially my crappy nonsense!

I love you dear!

(P.S: I know my English ain’t as good as yours (Benji), but I just type down whatever I think of you as…) *winks*

Movie

December 4th, 2006 by dreamyd

Yesterday my hub and I went to watch Saw III which only limited cinemas shows this movie. Since this is a R(A) movie, as usual they checked my NRIC to make sure I’m not underage… Let’s see if they still check my age again when I’m 30. =)

Anyway back to this movie. It’s ultimate gruesome! I had to admit some parts I giggled alittle and some it allow my undigested food to flow up to my throat (abit exagratted in this part). Part 3 showed how the man planned the "game" and how he got involved if you watch Saw I. Of course not forgetting playing games with other people who don’t treasure their lifes. Really fantastic I say. Amazing how the scripwriter thought of the torture chamber, it’s awesome. I won’t tell you the details of the show, I’ll be spoiling your mood in viewing. ;) Anyway 1 thing for sure is that if you can stand gross, bloody scene, this is not for you. Stay away!

I’ve watched Happy Feet on my birthday, I enjoyed it! The singing and dancing~ So cool~ The whole animation seems so real! I laughed and sobbed alittle during this show. Once awhile must watch this kinda show, it does relief some stress inside me. =)

Okay enough said, what’s the next movie I should watch? The Flags of Fathers seems nice. Maybe will watch it tomorrow…
