Ting’s little thoughts

What excatly is Valentine’s day? Is it the only day we show more love to our love ones? The only day that we show appreciation to them? The day where flowers and gifts selling at bizzare rates? To me, it’s just any other day, but there’s a name for the day, in other words, love day… Probably somewhere in some town few centuries or decades ago, the people think that most humans’ feelings gradually fading away when they’re in a relationship so they decided to have such a day; to let people revive their relationship and love! Great theory isn’t it? Haha~Who knows it might be true!

Yesterday my hubby and I went out. Geez, it was after my night shift and I only got 3 hrs of sleep but it was worthwhile as he was having his day off.

First thing first, we headed straight to Bugis Singtel to buy a new mobile for myself and yes! I’m lovin’ it! It’s light, matt black, flip phone, with radio and camera, blah blah blah… In short I just love this phone!!! *grins* By then we were starving as both of us didn’t had our lunch so we left Bugis to Esplanade for Thai Express. On the journey there, my hubby kept teaching me about the new functions of this handphone like bluetooth, images, phone book, etc. Took me awhile to understand what he was trying to tell me. =P

When we reached Thai express, there’s only 2 ladies in the restaurant. Well, aparentently we were too early for dinner but we ate it anyway. We had soft shell crabs, prawns popiah, laksa, curry with rice, avocado milkshake (me) and watermelon juice (him), not forgetting the sticky rice with mango. After everything that we’ve eaten, we’re too full! =P

I brought him to Marina Square to shop. Man, the whole place changed! So nice! So open and spacious! We bought a keychain for my hp and a bag for him. Wanted to buy more stuffs but thought that it wasn’t very practical so we just got settled with these 2 items.

Now I understand the happiness of shopping~ Haha~ But I still don’t like the tiredness… It’s more tiring than working! Overall, I enjoyed myself yesterday. Happy Valentine’s day! =)

Today is my last round of night shift. Early morning I was nursing this ill patient who was just admitted. Man, he’s really taking up my time. He was like going and going but after my shift, he’s still mantaining~ Which is good but hopefully he need not suffer too long due to being dysnoeic. Better pray hard before I go to work that today my night will be very smooth flowing!

Tomorrow my love will be taking his off instead of his usual Sunday. So we’ll spend quality time together. I can’t wait for tomorrow to get my new handphone! Though I’m not really sure what handphone to get but I’ve already had 2 in mind. *grins* So excited whenever I think of it as I’ve been having my current handphone for like 3-4 years? This current handphone of mine has been very efficient so far after being dropped onto the floor and thrown around the places. We’ll be celebrating Valentine’s day in advance and somemore it’s a full day together! I better reach home early tomorrow to sleep and wake up earlier to spend more time together~ Yipee!

Shall end here for now, better plan what am I going to wear tomorrow! Hehe~ Must prepare myself to avoid any delays from going out!

Alrighty, back to my blogging times again. In case of any of my friends happen to see my blog, this is to update you of my daily lifes as we hardly get to meet one another as I’m no longer staying at the west side of Singapore.

Things happen for a reason and it’s all planned from my heavenly Father. For an instance, getting married, being a nurse, "exciting" incidents happened in my ward, etc.

If you asked me do I think that I married too young or do I hold any regrets about it, I would say no. Since I’m with my husband for a short time but I felt that we are meant for each other. So what’s the difference being getting married now or later? Marriage life is the same as being in relationship. Just that you’re having a different status. I get to understand and know more about my hubby, which is good! Though seeing each other almost everyday but frankly, before marriage we’ve been seeing each other almost everyday and appranently we don’t get bored with each other. Isn’t that the same as being married? Of course married life is not about one person but two. Whatever we do must be considerate for the other partner.

Time really flies. Now I’m a nurse for a year +. I still remembered a year ago I wasn’t very keen to pick up this profession but well, I just give it a shot. And hey, I’m still surviving! Hehe… Though there’s ups and down while working but we must always remember, learn from mistake. Anyone disturb you at work, trying to tarish your reputation, never mind! Just do your work well and right and everything will goes off smooth! I got to be sure, where is my interest so I can take up course and upgrade myself! *sigh* See how it goes…
