Grooming Course
Finally got another Sunday off, thought I would get the spend quality time with my husband but sad to say that he’ll be working today… *sobz* What makes matter worse is that I’ll be working 4 nights, Won’t be seeing him at all for 5 days as by the time he reached home, I’ll be on my way to work… =(
I attended this course about grooming. It’s quite interesting as you get to know what kind of clothings and colour suits you. Not forgetting teaching us how to make up. For me, my colour type are spring-autum and spring-winter. Cool eh? Which means bright and warm colours suits me the most. In terms of character wise, I’m human orientated (talkative) and planner (think too much). Well, I always like wearing bright and light colours so actually I’m quite well-groomed? =P Please don’t ask me about your colour type as I’m not the image consultant, don’t know how they managed to see the people colour code. This colour thingy is the first day.
Second day I had a make up day. The lady showed us what kinda of face I have and I have expected the outcome. Most of us who attended were told that the facial cleanser we have been using are too harsh for our face. Interesting… Then she let us use some of the products which is nice to smell and use. She even taught us the steps of putting on make up. For me I’m more interested in applying eye-shadow as I sucked in it. When I tried hands on, I think I still did terribly so I forget about the eyes and head to lips. She also explained that it is good to apply make up when going out. The reasons being that the make up can act as a sponge on our face, the dirt outside would get stuck on our makeup instead of directly to our face. Also to brighten up our face and other people moods. Interesting eh? Time to use more of my make up! Hardly use them as I’m too lazy and thought that it’s pointless to wear it… Hehe…
Ladies out there, I would like to share with you what have I learnt regarding face:
1) It’s good to wash your face during shower as you can be sure that it’s cleansed totally.
2) Tear the cotton pad half (Cotton pad is very absorbent and thick)and pour toner onto it. Apply it upwards gently, avoid eye areas as it will dry up the eye areas leading to lines.
3) Apply mosturizer on the face upwards. Avoid the eyes as well. The purpose of applying upwards for skin products is to let ur face absorb the goodness of the products.
4) Apply eye cream/gel from the bottom eyelid inwards towards the nose and outwards for the top part of the eye. Do it in circles gently. While applying, press the bridge of the nose and corner bone of the eye to prevent fluid retention over the eyes.
5) Apply concealer under the eyes and the laugh line. Blend it gently.
6) Apply the foundation downwards- to bring down the facial hair and follices down. ( this is something new I’ve learnt) Do not apply on the eyes, leave it.
The rest you can start designing your face your own. =) Eye-shadow is hard to explain and blusher I think no need to say much right? *winks*
Alright, I think I say too much here. I better drink more water and shower to keep myself cool and hydrated. Look at the weather! It’s insane!!! Have a nice day and God bless!
